After binge-watching the entire first season of Batwoman over the holidays, I'm anxious to see where they are going to take this story, especially after Ruby Rose walking away from the lead role as Kate Kane. They didn't resolve the core conflict with Alice, nor resolve any of the hanging plot threads from that first season. The new Batwoman will be played by a new character that will be introduced named Ryan Wilder portrayed by Javicia Leslie. From the set photos that I have seen on social media, the new costume looks like an improvement though, but we'll have to wait and see how this new actress under the pressure of having to pick up the pieces where Ruby Rose/Kate Kane left off.
