I have raved enough about the original Axiom Verge when I first discovered the game for the PlayStation 4. I wonder how long that Nintendo will be able to keep this as a Switch exclusive or will we see a multi-platform release down the road sooner more than later. The only downside I see to this footage is that the game appears to be a prequel to the events in the first game rather than a full-blown sequel. After the revelations in the original title's ending, I felt that we deserved more to the story in terms of a sequel for those who didn't read up on all of the in-game lore.
This sequel/prequel (there's some confusion on which the teases on the official site are referring to) will release sometime in Fall 2020.
