Well, if you have been only watching the anime and not reading the manga, the only thing I'm going to say is that shit is about to get real at this point of the story. We've seen our heroes survive the turmoils of the civil war within the Walls as the military crowned their new "queen" in Historia Reiss while Eren and the rest of the Survey Corps set out to unlock the basement underneath Eren's home.
When they get there, they are locked within a battle between the Colossal and Armored Titans - along with their newfound ally, the Beast Titan. I'm anxious to see how far into the story they go with this season as the events of the manga are quite a while off.
