I'm not sure which iteration of the New Mutants that Fox are going with, but man, I'm actually optimistic about this live-action X-Men property. This could actually be BETTER set up with a horror movie vibe to it. A lot of the mutants on this end of the X-Men have "horrifying" powers, so this really isn't a tough sell for both casuals and fans of the comics.
By the way, isn't that Will's older brother from Stranger Things in this trailer? If they are going to do Magik's powers with a ton of CGI demons and otherworldly shit in this then all for it.
