PREVIEW -- ONE PUNCH MAN: A Hero Nobody Knows - Gamescon 2019 Gameplay Trailer

I was wondering how they were going to balance how OP Saitama was in this game and the "timer" mechanic makes perfect sense. I wasn't surprised in the least to see Tatsumaki (Terrible Tornado), Silverfang (Bang), and Atomic Samurai as playable characters. I would be more surprised if they were omitted from the initial launch of the game. Glad to see Mosquito Girl, Vaccine Man, Genos, Mumen Rider, and Fubuki (Blizzard) playable as well. I hope they have all of the new heroes that were introduced in Season Two of the anime in this as playable fighters as well.

As cool as this looks, my primary concern about a game like this is how do you balance all of the characters without making everyone outside of Saitama a joke like Dan Hibiki from Street Fighter? Regardless, I'm going to keep my eye out on this one. 

ONE PUNCH MAN: A HERO NOBODY KNOWS is an action fighting game set in a universe where threats are daily occurrences and heroes the sole hope against annihilation. Saitama the main protagonist, is a hero that can obliterate even the strongest foes with a single punch, a situation that bother him to no end. The game will feature 3 vs. 3 battles, where players can form powerful teams using many familiar faces, the first confirmed playable characters being Genos, Hellish Blizzard, Mumen Rider, Speed-o'-Sound Sonic and Saitama.
