A new, remade version of the Panzer Dragoon game – true to the original, with improved graphics and controls, that suit modern gaming standards!
Panzer Dragoon: Remake - coming to PlayStation 4!
Panzer Dragoon Remake will cost $24.99 when it releases on PS4 on September 28.
Below, you can continue to read more about the game, courtesy of an official rundown of its key features:
- Pilot through seven unbelievably realistic levels ranging from tropical blue ocean cities to intricate subterranean ruins.
- Fight the Prototype Dragon who appears together with evil giant dragonflies, frightening man-sized wasps, giant sandworms, and lethal flying battleships.
- Attack enemies approaching from all sides, quickly and without mercy, with improved 360-degree controls and a lock-on targeting.
Just wow... You learn something new everyday. I had absolutely NO idea that Panzer Dragoon came to the PlayStation 2 as a direct port from the Sega Saturn via an import release.

As mentioned above in the quote from Comicbook.com, Panzer Dragoon: Remake, which was originally released earlier this year as a Nintendo Switch exclusive, is coming to PlayStation 4 later this week, so keep an eye out for that.
For me personally, I doubt that I'm going to pick this up immediately at launch as I'm still sitting on Panzer Dragoon Orta that I bought for the vanilla Xbox not too long ago. I hope this sells well because Sega are sitting on a wealth of their older properties that haven't been but NEED to be re-released and remastered in some capacity for modern consoles instead of being lost in the ether for all time.
