Unless you have been hiding underneath a rock, you have heard the news that a Monster Hunter live action movie, starring Milla Jovovich, is coming out at the end of the calendar year. The early American trailers for this can be best described as comical at best, but I thought this Japanese trailer (see below) was a LOT better. Capcom was so wrong for letting them use "Proof of a Hero" as the main theme for this though. If anything, I'll watch this for a good laugh. I'm not expecting much out of this, especially with Ron Perlman cast as the Admiral. The casting for the Handler looks spot on though.
As for the collaboration quest(s) in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, I'm fine with this, especially since it's probably going to be one of the last strings of new content we are going to get for this game before Monster Hunter: Rise drops for the Nintendo Switch next year. I'm guessing it would get the same treatment as The Witcher III collaboration for the base game that I'm sure a lot of people glossed over at the time.
