You've been warned that there's a pretty big spoiler or two in this final trailer prior to the game's release later this week (March 8th).

Now that's out of the way, let's talk about this shall we? Gameplay-wise, this is more of the same of what we've seen out of the trailers for this game leading up to the release, but it seems like they are hinting at a point of the game where even Lady and Trish are possibly even playable. I can't remember if the developers said that was confirmed or not, but that would be a sweet addition if true. Don't forget that Lady and Trish were both playable in Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition, so it wouldn't be too far fetch to see Capcom cook up updated movesets for them in this game.

As for story spoilers, the biggest one is that Capcom seems to be confirming what most players have "assumed" to be true since Devil May Cry 4 (especially after the artbook came out) that Vergil is officially Nero's biological father. We see a woman who we can assume is Nero's mother, instructing him to hide while she confronts a mysterious force, leaving him with the warning to "change his name and take a new identity" if she were to never return. All signs are pointing to this child being a young Nero, but I wouldn't rule out that Vergil's offspring could be the newcomer "V" as well. I'm not going to rule out that possibility either.

I'm definitely going to be renting this over the upcoming weekend.
