I meant to talk about this trailer when it first came out but I kept getting sidetracked. Holy crap this looks amazing so far. Even though I'm not too crazy about the 3D Animus that seems like they were trying to simulate something else, such as the ODM Gear from Attack on Titan, I like what I'm seeing with this so far. It seems like they are staying true enough to the source material while weaving their own unique take on this universe.
As for the release in December, that's going to be a little iffy as that new Star Wars spin-off comes out roughly around that time and I doubt too many people will pick this over Star Wars if they were going to see a film release around the Christmas holidays.
