As it stands currently, every Superstar and Diva that walked out of WrestleMania 31 is currently injured and could possibly miss WrestleMania 32, so WWE are in quite a pickle at the moment. What I would like to do today is give my best pitch at what WWE could possibly do moving forward from now to WrestleMania.

I'm NOT going to include the possible signings of Shinsuke Nakamura, AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, and Doc Gallows for the added challenge of working with who WWE has contracted currently between the main roster and down in developmental on NXT.

Royal Rumble 2016 Match Card

  • Divas Championship Match - Charlotte (c) vs. Becky Lynch
  • Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat Match - Dean Ambrose (c) vs. Kevin Owens vs. Neville
  • Royal Rumble Match for WWE World Heavyweight Championship
    • Bullet Points of Key Events that NEED to happen to spark feuds for the rest of the Road to WrestleMania
      • Kalisto pulls an upset and eliminates Alberto Del Rio --> sets up US title feud
      • Kofi narrowly escapes elimination with one of his innovative maneuvers with assistance from the New Day, but the Usos and Dudleys throw a money wrench into those plans. --> sets up New Day vs. Usos vs. Dudleys feud
      • Social Outcasts squashed by the Wyatt Family one by one
      • J & J Security return in the Rumble Match -- C'mon Roman needs some jobbers to squash from now to 'Mania
      • Brock Lesnar is about to win but he's eliminated by a returning Daniel Bryan --> Bryan vs. Lesnar feud for WM
      • The Big Show & Kane tag team reunion that takes on the Wyatt Family
      • J & J Security assist a returning Triple H (dressed to kill) to win the Rumble --> Only logical direction as Authority needs to put Roman in the chase again to try to screw him over until the "feel good, cliched happy ending" that WrestleMania always loves to end on.
Why's the card so short, you ask? Because the main focus should be in the Rumble match with just about every major player that's left should be in that match.

Divas title match ends with Becky winning heel tactics after Charlotte clearly submits. They can do the rematch on following night on RAW to a similar result.

IC title match has potential to be as good as NXT Takeover: Fatal 4 Way's main event... I'm leading to a similar match-up for WrestleMania, so sit tight...

WWE Fast Lane 2016 Match Card

  • Divas Championship Match - Charlotte (c) vs. Sasha Banks
    • Ends with Charlotte once again cheating her way into retaining the title
  • New Day & League of Nations' Rusev vs. The Usos & Dudley Boys - 4-on-4 Tag Team Match
  • United States Championship Match - Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Kalisto
  • Intercontinental Championship Match - Dean Ambrose (c) vs. Chris Jericho
  • Kevin Owens vs. Neville
  • Daniel Bryan announces that he's medically cleared to compete at WrestleMania
  • The Wyatt Family vs. The Big Show, Kane, Ryback, and mystery partner (debuting Finn Balor)
  • Roman Reigns vs. J & J Security and Sheamus
    • If Roman wins, he gets match against Triple H at Mania
    • If Roman loses, he's denied rematch for title as long as Triple H is champion
Roman Reigns wins the title match opportunity of course, or WWE can allow Reigns to jump hoops for the last few weeks of WrestleMania like how they did Daniel Bryan.

Divas title match happens after Sasha Banks won #1 contender's battle royal (thanks to help from Team BAD throwing out Becky and members of Team Bella) that is booked after Becky Lynch loses her rematch against Charlotte.

4-on-4 Tag Team Match is merely filler to give the tag teams something to do in the meantime between the Rumble and Mania.

Kevin Owens vs. Neville occurs to continue their feud that's being established currently on WWE programming while Chris Jericho openly challenges Dean Ambrose for the title next in the meantime. Ambrose accepts because he has a grudge against Jericho since their team-up against the Wyatts last year. Jericho loses but reveals his true colors as a sore loser and turns heel against Ambrose post-match.

US title match - ADR cheats to retain against Kalisto in a really close match.

After Daniel Bryan's announcement, Lesnar comes out and brawl ensues to setup match for WrestleMania since Bryan screwed him out of the title. This could be easily done the next night on RAW, but I think doing it on the PPV would get more eyes on the Network.

The Wyatt Family vs. reunited Big Show & Kane happens for a few weeks until Ryback joins up for payback for the attacks to him. They tease that they found the perfect partner who is quite the demon himself and something that the Wyatts have never experienced before. Finn Balor debuts on the main roster with his PPV debut in this match. Referee bump and Bray does Sister Abigail on the steel chair to lay out Balor for the win and sets up one-on-one feud.

WWE WrestleMania XXXII Match Card

  • Divas Championship Match Fatal 4 Way - Charlotte (c) vs. Becky Lynch vs. Paige vs. Sasha Banks
  • Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal - Anyone not booked for NXT Takeover this week or on the WM main card should be in this match
  • Intercontinental Championship Fatal 4 Way - Dean Ambrose (c) vs. Chris Jericho vs. Neville
  • Bray Wyatt vs. Finn Balor
    • If you REALLY want to make this match special, debut the members of Bullet Club here with AJ Styles, Doc Gallows, and Karl Anderson accompanying Balor to the ring to fight off the Wyatt Family for the mark-out moment of the year
    • Key Detail is that everyone's shocked that Balor isn't dressed as the Demon, but comes out of smoke with the Bullet Club shirt on.
  • Kevin Owens vs. The Undertaker
  • Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Bryan
  • United States Championship Match - Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Kalisto
  • Triple Threat Tornado Tag Team Match for WWE Tag Team Championship - New Day (c) vs. The Usos vs. Dudley Boys
  • WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match - Triple H vs. Roman Reigns

Divas title match is a fatal four way match because people would want to see the best byproducts from NXT's women's division in a dream match like this, especially with bulk of the factions dealing with injuries or have dissolved. There's simply no better alternative. For those clamoring for the Charlotte vs. Sasha one-on-one rematch, you save that for Summerslam.

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal is going to be in the preshow anyway, so it really doesn't matter who's in it but it would be nice to see some of the up and coming NXT talent get some recognition in that thing.

Bray Wyatt vs. Finn Balor would be money. The New Face of Fear versus the Demon himself. By this point, WWE would have had time to iron out the contracts with the potential signees from New Japan or you could put three other NXT stars that deserve to move up to the main roster here to be aligned with Balor at ringside.

Kevin Owens vs. The Undertaker is going to be tricky as it would have to be a battle for respect. Owens works classic heel, beating the shit out of Taker left and right, but the Phenom gets the win. Post-match attack ensues and out comes Sami Zayn to reignite the Owens vs. Zayn feud from NXT. There you go, you got another post-WM feud in making to flesh out the following night on RAW.

Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Bryan. Have Brie Bella at ringside for this one as Lesnar mauls Bryan for the duration of the match. Have her sell the horror of Bryan's well-being and health. Bryan makes his comeback and collapses to the power of Lesnar, causing Brie to throw in the towel because she can't watch her husband take anymore abuse.

This is how Brock needs to ragdoll Bryan around to make it look good and believable.

ADR finally drops the title to Kalisto in the feel good moment for Kalisto's career and establishes him as a singles star.

The Dudley Boys get their record breaking tag title win on the grandest stage of them all, defeating the New Day clean.

Everyone underneath the sun who are in the Authority's pocket come out to aid Triple H try to retain against Roman Reigns, including the League of Nations, J & J Security, and even Brock Lesnar. Lesnar surprises everyone and lays out Triple H for Roman to win, setting up Lesnar vs. Reigns II for Summerslam since Roman "owes" him one.
