So what you're telling me is that THQ is selling us the game with a half-assed Attitude Era roster, which is supposed to be their core selling point of this title, and pretty much forcing us to drop an addition $19.99 for a grand total of $80-90 after taxes on yet another WWE title? I know the core WWE game fan-base will come and comment on this like this is the best deal ever and it's the same 'discount' they've been offering for the past 3-4 years on these titles but seriously, enough is enough. When are wrestling fans (and more importantly gamers in general) are going to get hip to this scheme and realize that the industry is pretty much ripping you off by making you think you're getting a deal when you're pretty much buying an $80+ game instead of $60 on release day? This is NO different than Capcom and their dirty on-disk DLC tactics.
After the shame Street Fighter X Tekken's on-disk charged DLC did to Capcom's business image and the good Tekken Tag Tournament 2's FREE DLC did for Namco's, I thought the industry would take note and realize that this is NOT the way to treat the customers who money that you wish to obtain.
Seriously, I wouldn't be as upset about this if I didn't read the details on the Moves Pack DLC. So, you're telling me Y2J doesn't have his proper Lionsault animation in game from start? So what was the point of having 2 versions of him in the first place? Same for Brock Lesnar - he came back using the Kimura Lock for the past few months as the cornerstone of his offense now, yet it's not in the game when you buy it brand new? The current WWE Divas Champion (at the time of the roster reveal) Layla is FREE DLC? Cool, but her, AJ, and Natalya should've been in from scratch. No idea on why not. What's even more awful is that fans have to wait as late as January 2013 for their favorites to be in this game.
I'm as dumbfounded as everyone else on Chainsaw Charlie (Terry Funk's worst gimmick ever AKA a Leatherface rip-off) and Brian Pillman being included. I wonder if Pillman has drugs included...
